Oscar the TrachCan Robot is more than just a trash can. It is the first outreach project built by QE from recycling a motorized wheelchair. Named after Oscar from Sesame Street, Oscar has become a local celebrity within Hudson County. Oscar is taken to all of our community outreach events to spread the message of FIRST and STEM, and establish our name in the community. People of all ages get the chance to drive the TrashCan Robot and spark their curiosity on who we are.
