FIRST World Championship 2024
From April 16th-20th, Questionable Engineering competed at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas. After several hours of flights, the team was excited to land in Houston. The team eagerly explored the Innovation Festival on our first day at the center and enjoyed meeting with industry professionals and connecting with some of our sponsors! Once the competition started, the team was in full swing with our pit crew and drive team working constantly to improve our robot’s performance, our scouts and strategists working to perfect our gameplay, and our award team presenting to judges. QE completed in the Daly Division this year and was overjoyed to work with Team 4795, the Eastbots, and Team 4828, RoboEagles, for a scouting collaboration over the entire week! It was great to connect and partner with teams from around the world.
We ended up placing 38th in our division and finished 5-5-0 in our qualifying matches. Although we were not chosen for an alliance, QE eagerly watched the final matches and closing ceremony! The entire team is grateful to have had such an amazing season, and we are all very excited for the upcoming 2025 FRC season, REEFSCAPE. Even though the FRC season is done, QE does not stop here! For the next few months, we will compete at off-season competitions in the area and host various STEM events (keep an eye out for more information)!
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters who have made the Crescendo season a great one for this team. We could not have done this without you!
